JAKK

Terms of Use

Last updated: 28 August 2026

This is a working version of our terms, not a final lawyer-reviewed document. If you download Jakk from the App Store, Apple's Standard EULA also applies: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

1. Using Jakk

By creating an account or using the Jakk app, you agree to these terms. Jakk provides AI-personalised gym programmes built on frameworks created by real personal trainers, and connects you with independent coaches where applicable.

2. Your coach

If you sign up through a coach's invite code, that coach is an independent personal trainer, not a Jakk employee or agent. Jakk isn't responsible for the personal advice or in-person services your coach provides outside the app; our role is the software and platform connecting you.

3. Payments and subscriptions

If you're billed through a coach, payment is collected via Stripe at the price your coach has set with you, and renews monthly until cancelled. Jakk never sees or stores your card details. Cancelling your subscription is done through your coach or, where applicable, through your Apple App Store subscription settings.

4. Not medical advice

Jakk provides fitness programming, not medical advice. Consult a doctor before starting any new exercise programme, especially if you have an existing injury, medical condition, or are unsure whether an exercise is safe for you. You're responsible for exercising within your own limits.

5. Your conduct

You agree not to misuse the app; including attempting to access other users' data, disrupt the service, or use it for anything unlawful.

6. Your content

Information you provide (training goals, workout logs, etc.) is used to build and improve your programme as described in our Privacy Policy. You own your data; you can export or delete it at any time from your Profile.

7. Termination

You can stop using Jakk and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.

8. Limitation of liability

Jakk is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including any injury resulting from exercises performed without following the guidance in Section 4.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
